COST Action IC1205 on Computational Social Choice

Reporting Requirements

Please send us a short scientific report on your research visit within four weeks of returning from your trip. This report should be a 1-page PDF document that you send by email to cost.ic1205(at)gmail.com. (The person receiving this email is Ulle Endriss.) The subject of your email should be "STSM Report", followed by your name and the name of the host institution. The report itself should contain a short summary of your scientific activities and have the following information at the top of the file:

COST Action IC1205 on Computational Social Choice: STSM Report
Applicant: <your name>
Home institution: ...
Home country: ...
Host: ...
Host institution: ...
Host country: ...
Dates: dd/mm/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy

Examples for reports from past missions are available at the STSM Report Repository.

Please also ask your host to send a short email to cost.ic1205(at)gmail.com to confirm that you have indeed been visiting their institution and that your scientific report is accurate (the most convenient is a reply-all to the email with your report). You might have to remind your host about this at the time you send your report.

We will process your reimbursement within a few weeks after we have received your report and your host's confirmation. Note that we might not be able to reimburse you if you don't make the four-week deadline.

Acknowledging COST in your papers

If you publish a paper that, at least in part, has been made possible due to an STSM (or any other activity organised by this COST Action), then please acknowledge this fact in the paper if at all possible, and later register the paper on this site. This will help us to justify the existence of this network to the COST Association in Brussels, and it will help them to justify the same to the higher echelons of the Brussels hierarchy. You could write something like this: "This work has been partly supported by COST Action IC1205 on Computational Social Choice." (including the "IC1205" is particularly helpful, thanks).
